A DRHP has been filed by Crayons Advertising with NSE Emerge
India's leading integrated and innovative advertising agency, Crayons Advertising Limited, has filed its Draft Red Herring Prospectus (DRHP) with NSE Emerge for its IPO. The company plans to offer 64.30 lakh Equity Shares of face value Rs 10/- each through the book-building process.
The issue's book-running lead manager is Corporate Capital Ventures. Skyline Financial Services, on the other hand, is the issue's registrar. Crayons Advertising is a three-and-a-half-decade-old, award-winning, and integrated company that is promoted by Kunal Lalani. It offers a high-end ecosystem that includes an end-to-end advertising technology communication solutions platform for advertising media services.
It offers services in digital media planning and buying, creative solutions, events and activations, brand strategy, and more. The initial public offering's proceeds will be put toward expanding infrastructure and cutting-edge technology (Rs. 15.28 crore) and funding working capital requirements (Rs. 14.50 crore).
The Indian advertising market was valued at nearly Rs. 67,000 crore in 2020 by Expert Market Research. The market is expected to grow at a CAGR of 11% during the forecast period of 2022-27 to reach Rs. 1,25,300 crore by 2026. The Indian advertising market will remain the fastest growing in the world over the next two years, as per a new report by Dentsu International. With a growth rate of 16 percent in 2022 and ad spending that will increase by 15.2 percent in 2023 and 15.7 percent in 2024.
The company recently announced that it had been awarded significant mandates from TATA SONS, the National Skill Development Corporation, the Indian Oil Corporation, TATA Croma, and Bank of Baroda. The National Skill Development Corporation is tasked with transforming the concept of the brand and strengthening its connection to youth.
The final selection for taking over its social media mandate was heavily influenced by the agency's prior experience managing government businesses. Crayons recently won the social media mandate for TATA SONS within the TATA Group Companies. In the last couple of years, the agency has handled and executed multiple prestigious campaigns for the TATA Group.
Crayons also worked on the Tata Mumbai Marathon campaign, which serves as a case study in awareness and engagement. In addition, TATA appointed Crayons Advertising to launch the landmark Air India transition campaign "Wings of Change" and manage TATA Croma's creative mandate last year.
