Vineeta Singh is the co-founder and CEO of the popular cosmetic brand SUGAR Cosmetics. She is one of the female sharks on Shark Tank India. As a female shark on Shark Tank India, she gained attention for her smart investments and resemblance to a famous movie character, "Raju ki Maa." Born in 1983 in Anand, Gujarat, Vineeta's parents instilled a passion for education in her. She attended Delhi Public School, R. K. Puram, and went on to study electrical engineering at IIT Madras. She later earned an MBA from IIM Ahmedabad in 2007. Vineeta Singh's success story and entrepreneurial prowess have made her a respected and admired business leader in India.


Vineeta Singh's entrepreneurial journey began during her MBA when she decided to become an entrepreneur instead of taking a lucrative job offer from Deutsche Bank. Partnering with a friend, she started her first venture, Quetzal, providing HR services and curriculum design, followed by Fab Bags, a beauty product subscription platform.

Despite initial setbacks and challenges due to her young age and lack of experience, Vineeta persisted and founded SUGAR Cosmetics in 2015 with her husband, Kaushik Mukherjee. The brand quickly gained popularity among Indian women, leading to a $50 million deal with L Catterton and Bollywood star Ranveer Singh joining as an investor.

Despite facing skepticism and trust issues from investors and clients, Vineeta's dedication and hard work paid off, establishing her as a successful entrepreneur in India. SUGAR Cosmetics continues to thrive, focusing on catering to diverse skin tones and providing affordable, quality beauty products.
