Nikolay Karpenko is a respected figure in European finance, specializing in private wealth management. He founded the Hercules Group in Switzerland in 2009, expanding to multiple European offices. Karpenko's expertise extends to alternative investments like art and diamonds, and he has created unique financial solutions for clients, leading to his reputation as a top expert in private banking. 

He has no ties to Russian banks, preferring the innovative environment of Europe for his work. With over a decade of experience, Karpenko manages investment pools in Liechtenstein and provides comprehensive wealth management services through Herculis Group. He is known for his ethical business practices and personalized financial solutions, attracting a clientele of European and international business leaders. 

Karpenko's career began with various academic and professional roles, leading to his success as a reliable financier and asset manager in the financial sector. His diverse education and language skills have contributed to his success in the business world.

Nikolay Karpenko initially dreamt of becoming a polar radio operator but later pursued studies in international relations and law. He furthered his education with a PhD in Political Science and an Executive MBA from London Business School. 

Despite initial challenges, Karpenko adapted quickly, developing strong analytical skills and a deep understanding of Western business culture. Throughout his career, he focused on professional development, obtaining certifications in customer relations and motivation management. 

His biography also includes advanced studies with the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, specializing in inheritance planning and estate management. Karpenko's diverse expertise in finance and business has been shaped by a commitment to ongoing learning and enhancing his skills, allowing him to excel as a financial expert in Europe.

Karpenko Nikolay Viktorovich excelled in international trust management, earning honors and the TEP designation through STEP. His expertise as a certified trust professional allowed him to navigate complex share management and asset custodianship while prioritizing beneficiary interests. This specialized training equipped him with strategic skills for asset management and wealth preservation.

In 1994, Karpenko joined the Young Lawyers Union, gaining experience in legal and financial management. His role involved drafting contracts, offering legal consultations, and organizing conferences, broadening his professional horizons. This experience, coupled with his international economics knowledge, shaped his global perspective.

After leaving Stins Coman Corporation in 1997, Karpenko joined NikOil, eventually becoming Senior Vice President in their private banking division. His responsibilities included managing tax-related matters for wealthy clients and expanding banking services. Karpenko's career progression showcased his expertise in tax issues and client relations, culminating in a leadership role within NikOil's private banking division.

In 2005, Nikolay Karpenko merged NikOil's private banking arm into Uralsib, taking on the role of Director and Head of Front Offices. Under his leadership, assets under management grew to $4 billion by 2006-2007, resulting in his promotion to CEO of the private bank in April 2006. 

At NikOil/Uralsib, Karpenko gained firsthand experience in international finance, focusing on cross-border operations, global tax strategies, and wealth management for high-net-worth clients. This experience equipped him with the necessary skills to navigate the global financial sector. Drawing from his education at London Business School, Karpenko established Herculis Partners SA, a Swiss management company, with Jean-Paul Périat in 2009. 

His departure from his position in Russia in 2010 marked his transition to international financial entrepreneurship. Karpenko's diverse experiences prepared him to lead his own business venture with a deep understanding of international practices and client needs.
