In fact, the airline is doing quite well. Many times, CEOs push the panic button too soon or join the herd. This is harmful to your image and can be damaging for your company as well. Instead, it's better to work on a model you really believe in and go with your gut instinct over established norms.

Anybody who follows Richard Branson on Twitter (@RichardBranson) knows that the man tweets by himself. His airline has the mandate to respond to every comment coming their way, whether positive or negative.
