Early in his life, he met Rajiv Gandhi, when the future Prime Minister's car broke down midway. A small conversation between the two included a question from Rajiv Gandhi to Pal. Gandhi asked the man what he was doing in the middle of the clearing. “I dream, I dream of a new city,” was the reply.

With the prestige and power to make bold decisions, the CEO of DLF took the risk and took the first steps toward his goal. Gradually, he transformed Gurgaon and made it the center of commerce and trade in northern India.

Career

The man today known as the man who turned barren land into one of the most cherished places was once a soldier fighting for his country. Although it may come as a surprise, Kushal Pal Singh is an officer of the Indian Army, assigned to the 9th Deccan Cavalry Regiment.

Born on 15 November 1931 in Bulandshahar, Uttar Pradesh, a good man Bachelor of Science at Meerut College, Uttar Pradesh. He moved to the UK after graduation to study aeronautical engineering, after which he was drafted into the army.



The iconic real estate company happened in his life when he worked with Universal Electric Company of America and it merged with DLF. He then assumed the position of CEO of DLF along with Chaudhary Raghuvender Singh.

Personal life 

The real estate mogul is married to Indira Singh. He is the father of three children, a son Rajiv Singh and two daughters Renuka and Pia Singh.

Continuing to manage his business, Rajiv Singh is the Vice President of DLF Group. Kavita, the wife of Rajiv Singh, is an advisor to DLF Commercial Developers Ltd and DLF Universal Ltd. The couple has two daughters who work for the DLF. While Renuka Singh is married to the non-executive director of the DLF, G S Parmar, KP Singh's youngest daughter, Pia Singh, works as a full-time director for the DLF.
