With House joy, the fundamental element is to customers not face the hassles of dealing with multiple stakeholders or seeking plan approvals. On the flip side, House joy is also a one-stop-shop for a customer’s house maintenance requirements (On-demand Services) including home cleaning, painting, and electrical, carpentry and plumbing work.

All their service providers are among the best in the market, each having experience of around 5 – 15 years in the domain, and hence their quality is miles ahead of the local technicians. Therefore, we stepped in and decided to streamline the entire home construction process, hassle-free. We aim to become a one-stop solution to independent home construction using technology. It also became a need of the hour for the construction industry to adapt to the technology and bring more transparency to the market.

There are several companies and start-ups entering the home construction domain, but none of them are in the tech-enabled construction space. We have a transparent and automated end-to-end process that ensures that all major stakeholders such as customers, sales teams, architects, designers, project managers, and on-site engineers as well as the quality control and accounting personnel are on the same page. We provide a 10-year warranty on the structure, a one-year warranty on seepage and a six-month general warranty, and free home maintenance during the first year.

How has the Indian home services market progressed over the years?

Housejoy tech is trying to organize the entire process through technology where the customer can avail of the services without hassles. The tier 2 &3 cities have an enormous demand, still, the market has been untouched, and house joy will penetrate the market in the future. The house joy/ home service providers are solving this problem and all the home needs are met without any compromise.

Therefore, the consumer has begun to place their trust in-home service companies. The unprecedented pandemic situation brought the entire home services to a complete halt because nobody was aware of what we were dealing with. House joy has also floated essential services during this pandemic where we could re-allocate some of our service providers from plumbing, and carpentry to essential service delivery.

This situation may change because of the kind of technology placed for home services. And the company will expand its services in 15 cities within the next six months.
