NEW DELHI: Coffee Day Enterprises Ltd (DEL) announced on Monday that Malaria Hedge, the wife of the late founder VG Siddhartha, has been appointed CEO of the company. DEL operates a Café Coffee Day restaurant chain in India. "Malaria Hedge, a director of the company, was appointed CEO of the company effective December 7, 2020," DEL said in a regulatory statement. The company's board of directors also approved the appointment of CH Vasundhara Devi, Girl Decatur and Moran in a meeting on Monday.

"Malavika Hegde, Director of the organization, has been designated as CEO of the organization with impact from seventh December 2020," CDEL said in an administrative documenting.
